Architectural Acoustics Introduces New ICS 4200 Four-Channel Power Amplifier
Oct. 10, 2003, NEW YORK - Architectural Acoustics, a division of Peavey Electronics Corporation, proudly introduces the new ICS 4200 four-channel industrial power amplifier.
The ICS 4200 is designed for permanent installation and features four independent 200 Watt amplifier channels in a compact, fan-cooled 2U rack-mount package. The ICS 4200 can supply maximum output power to both low impedance (4 and 8 Ohms) and high impedance (70 Volts) loads simultaneously in two-channel configurations. Rear-panel switches allow the user to place channels A and B or channels C and D into low or high impedance operation. To facilitate installations where larger power output requirements exist, the ICS 4200 can be configured for bridged operation. For maximum flexibility, combinations of dual 400 Watt amplifiers or dual 200 Watt and one 400 Watt amplifiers are possible. Peaveys legendary SPS loudspeaker protection circuit and an integral 60 Hz high-pass filter protect each amplifier output for even more performance advantages.
The ICS 4200 includes removable Euro connectors for all inputs, plus two modular input bays with full support for the popular MMA Series input modules. Assignable to any input via rear-panel DIP switches, the modular input option gives the ICS 4200 advanced flexibility not found on other products in its price class. The front panel features four level controls with a tamper-resistant cover, LED signal and protection indicators and an AC power switch.
